Wikimania 2007

Finally Wikimania 2007 is over last Sunday. Although I could only join the event for 1.5 days due to my new job and my sudden family issues, and I could only stay in the control room during the program going on, it's still a great event!

終於2007年維基媒體年會在上星期日結束了。雖然因為開始了新工作以及臨時的家庭因素我只能參加一天半的會議，而且就算參加了也還是只能待在控制室幫忙，不過還是覺得這是一個很棒的會議！

I will post my blog articles in bilingual in the future because the Chinese / English visitors are half and half, stay tuned...

未來我會以中英文雙語來寫部落格文章，畢竟來看我部落格的人使用中文和英文的人各佔一半了...

Student to Save Losheng

3 days ago on my way back home I saw a student with mask standing on the police guard stand in the MRT Taipei Main Station trying to show his opinion on the recent Losheng issue happened in Taiwan. I took some pictures of him:

I'm still here

Yep, I'm still here.

Some of you might wonder why I changed my user profile on blogger to say "I was a senior software engineer of Ulead Systems Inc.". I changed that sentence to past form in January because I left Ulead in December 28, 2006.

Don't get me wrong. I still love Ulead a lot. I left because I think it's time for me to seek for another career. Ulead now is been merged into InterVideo Digital Tech. However, its products, the developing teams and the Ulead brand are still there. You will still see products to be released under the Ulead brand.

InterVideo now has became a subsidiary of Corel's Digital Media Group, so when they release any new products from Ulead and InterVideo, you will also see the name of Corel DMG to be mentioned.

I will still be active in the InterVideo Ulead User-to-User Forum. If you have any questions on InterVideo or Ulead products, please do not post them here but post them to the user forum.

I will now put more efforts on the annual event of the non-profit Wikimedia Foundation, Wikimania. If you wish to discuss on that, you could leave a message in my Wikimania talk page.
